Who moves house in Tauranga
In Tauranga a whole-house move often runs to a settlement date. Families buying into the newer streets at Wairakei, The Lakes or Tauriko may be leaving a rental in Greerton, Gate Pā or Brookfield on the day the keys change hands. Parents changing school zones tend to aim for the holidays.
Getting a whole house out
On a shared drive in Otūmoetai or Matua, a full load can hold up the neighbours for a while, so warn them. At a Mount apartment every bed and carton shares one lift, so ask the building about loading times. Up a steep Welcome Bay drive, the fridge climbs with everything else.
What to put in your listing
Choose Full Home Move when you post, then go room by room: bedrooms, beds and whether they come apart, the fridge, washer and dryer. Give a rough box count, describe the drive, steps or lift at each address and add photos from the street. Tick flexible dates if a day either side works.
