The van work around Tauranga is more often one load than a whole house. Someone has bought a dresser off Trade Me in Papamoa and owns a hatchback. Drivers here plan around the shape of the harbour. The Mount sits out on a sandspit, so a load heading there runs in past the port on Totara Street and Grenada Street, or takes the long way over the Maungatapu bridge out to Te Maunga when the first option is stacked up. Papamoa is a ribbon between the beach and the Eastern Link, so Arataki to Te Okuroa Drive is a real drive rather than a hop.
